Michal Baker: Founder
Hi, welcome to M-Tech! My name is Michael Baker; I’m the founder of M Tech Garage Services. My career first started in 1985 at the age of sixteen as an apprentice working for Ballamys Saab, where I completed my motor technician training and achieved my City & Guilds Level 1 & 2 along with various specialised Saab courses covering areas such as fuel systems, auto electronics, and transmissions.
After eighteen successful years of service at Ballamys Saab, I decided to start M-Tech in 2003. Since then, we’ve grown into an established, trusted garage on Meadow Road, and we’re proud of our stellar reputation as a trusted local garage.
Dave: Motor Technician
Trained as a motor technician at Worthing College, Dave has over thirty years of experience in the motor trade, working with a vast array of manufacturers. He’s worked on HGVs as well as cars, is a qualified MOT tester, and has been with M-Tech since the workshop opened.
Sam: Motor Technician
Trained at Chichester College, Sam is a fully qualified motor technician and MOT tester; he also has a family history of working in the motor industry.
Tom: Apprentice Technician
Tom is currently undertaking his City & Guilds level 2 & 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and attends a day release at Northbrook College. Tom will then progress to being an MOT tester.
Roy: Business Advisor
Roy trained as a motor technician in 1968 and has a wealth of experience within the trade. Roy ran the after-sales side of a large Saab dealership for many years as Service Director, and he now assists in developing and growing the business in an advisory capacity.
